Philosophy Inspired by the positive results of the BigAmp we wondered if a phantom powered, high quality preamp preceding the microphone cable could improve the sound quality of a ribbon or dynamic microphone. the results were more then convincing. Enter FetHead, our newest innovation in phantom powered preamp design. While testing FetHead we noticed an overall increase of sound quality and a change of tonal character of the attached dynamic microphone towards a more open, controlled sound. Which microphones benefit In short, we noticed an improvement on all tested dynamic microphones. A Shure sm58 for instance, sounded more responsive over a broader frequency range. When mated with a high-end dynamic microphone like a Sennheiser MD441, FetHead really shines. Ribbon microphones benefit greatly too because of a much better impedance match, which lessens the load on the microphone, thus giving it better transient response characteristics. FetHeads high quality, low noise signal amplification also extends the usable range of a ribbon microphone, by making it more suitable for recording softer passages without introducing noise. Some ribbon microphones do not tolerate phantom power, FetHead's circuit uses Phantom power but shields it from its input (and the microphone's output), as a result it offers effective protection to the microphone. Low noise Fethead uses low noise jfets configured as a double class a amplifier. Jfet's are among the most quiet amplifying elements available today. The calculated noise figure of the FetHead based on the jfet's datasheet is lower than we are able to measure. In the real world the noise injected by a FetHead depends on the noise generated by the pantom power supply, if the power supply is quiet, FetHead is quiet. How it works Attach FetHead on to a balanced microphone cable and plug it in a dynamic microphone, switch on phantom power and enjoy FetHeads Natural open sound! We recieved some really nice product feedback from KRAMER: I COULD NOT DO MY JOB AS A RECORD PRODUCER WITHOUT THE HELP OF PRODUCTS MADE BY TRITONAUDIO. THAT'S A SIMPLE FACT. NONE OF MY VINTAGE RIBBON MICS WOULD SOUND THE WAY THEY DO ON MY RECORDS IF I DID NOT HAVE MY FETHEAD PLUGS. I OWE A HUGE DEBT TO TRITONAUDIO. THANKS FOR DOING WHAT YOU DO, AND DOING IT SO WELL! Philosophy FetHead Broadcast is an in-line microphone preamp specially designed for operating in challenging environments. FetHead Broadcast was developed in conjunction with Dutch Broadcasting and facility service company CineVideoGroup. it is Based on technology used in our product FetHead and is fitted with a high quality jfet preamp, followed by a low impedance output buffer to enable output drive to long cables (up to 3kM). FetHead Broadcast offers 23dB's of low noise, high quality amplification which can be applied to either dynamic or condenser microphones as phantom power is transferred to the microphone. In Broadcast or live performance situations, a microphone signal often travels through long cables before reaching the mixing desk. When small microphone signals travel adjacent to power lines or dimmed light cables, audible signal interference is likely to be induced into the microphone cable which often results in a polluted signal. FetHead broadcast amplifies the microphone signal before the cable and greatly improves the signal to noise ratio offering a much higher quality signal to the mixing desk. Because its phantom powered no mains supply or batteries which could stop working during "on air" time / operation are required. Features Low noise Class A JFet amplifier Rugged enclosure 23dB amplification Internal supply power filtering Low impedance output buffer High voltage protection Reverse polarity protection For all types of microphones

Germanium microphone preamp FetHead Germanium is a high quality, in-line microphone preamplifier. It provides a punchy and direct, ‘larger than life’ germanium sound for ribbon and dynamic microphones, adding classy Germanium harmonics. Sounding full and rich it is reminiscent of much higher priced vintage gear, making FetHead Ge's desirable coloration a really great addition to (Interface) preamps which sound rather neutral. Germanium flavour Germanium transistors were widely used in earliest transistor designs by Neve, EMI, Telefunken, and Fairchild, and have developed a reputation for a decidedly vintage mojo that remains sought after today. We created a novel hybrid circuit that consists of low noise JFets and a hand-selected ‘new old stock’ germanium transistor to take full advantage of the "Germanium" sound and at the same time achieve the same sonic quality we are known for. Protects the microphone Some ribbon microphone do not tolerate phantom power. FetHead Germanium circuit uses 48v phantom power but shields it from the microphone, your microphone is protected. Germanium microphone preamp For Ribbon and Dynamic microphones Great addition to neutral sounding preamps New old stock Germanium transistor 29dB amplification Shielded Enclosure Easy install - 2 clicks and done
FetHead Phantom is a FetHead version which allows phantom power to reach the microphone. It was developed after several requests from different audio engineers to build a FetHead for condenser microphones with low output. We tested FetHead Phantom on a broad range of condenser microphones and are very happy with the results. It works well with electret microphones like the countryman or an AKG C1000. These are microphones which consume very little power, FetHead Phantom also works great on "real" condenser microphones like a U87 or even with an Oktava MK319 which consumes a hefty 8mA! FetHead Phantom can be distinguished by a red dot below the TritonAudio label.
Features Low noise Class A FET amplifier 28 dB amplification XLR input/output Custom nickel core transformer Frequency response 30hz-100 kHz Circuit is powered with 48V phantom power PhilosophyFetHead Transformer is a high quality inline microphone preamplifier. It provides a very warm andthick yet articulate sound for dynamic and ribbon microphones. FetHead Transformer’s desirablecharacter is a really great addition to (interface) preamps which sound rather neutral. Our tried andtrue FET technology combined with a custom wound nickel core transformer delivers 28dB oftransformer infused gain. OperationYour Fethead Transformer will latch straight onto any XLR equipped microphone, or anywhere else inthe signal path between microphone and preamp/mixer. The electronics are housed in a robust metalchassis with a balanced female XLR input and a balanced male XLR output, rugged enough for use athome, in the studio or on tour. Recommended applicationOur FetHead Transformer is recommended in the following situations: For tracking vocals and making podcasts Adding transformer sound to your signal chain Recording direct into a DAW interface Mixers/preamps that negatively impact the sound at higher gain setting Adding warm and thick focus to the sound source Circuit topologyOur FetHead Transformer utilizes a low noise Class A FET amplifier with a nickel core outputtransformer. A low impedance output buffer provides output drive to long cables.
The ultimate levitation damper – Set 4 pcs.How it works Place them under your record player, cd/dvd player or under your speakers and isolate your equipment from feedback. Neolev magnetic levitation dampers are our latest development. Placed under CD/DVD players, turntables, speakers etc., they eliminate acoustic feedback and mechanical distortion to bring out the full potential of your equipment. Cancellation of contact induced resonance is very effective as forces perpendicular to the device are never transferred. Based on two repelling Neodium magnets one single NeoLev lifts up to 8kg. NeoLev's are adjustable to ensure perfect levelling.
