Die USB-Class-Compliant-konforme Firmware ermöglicht den Anschluss an ein iPad™ oder beliebiges iOS™-Gerät über USB-C oder einem Standard-Kamera-Anschlusskit (Lightning-Adapter, separat erhältlich). Das 16A ist für Studio und Bühne gleichermaßen geeignet. Als Interface oder Standalone-Mixer bietet es 32 separate Eingänge und 34 separate Ausgänge, darunter 16 symmetrische analoge 1/4-Zoll-Klinken-Ein-/Ausgänge (Line-Pegel), zwei Bänke mit 8-kanaligen optischen Ein-/Ausgängen und einem Kopfhörerausgang an der Vorderseite. Die renommierte ESS Sabre32™ DAC-Technologie liefert eine hervorragende analoge Performance. Das 16A verfügt über einen integrierten AVB-Switch mit zwei Gigabit-Ethernet-Ports, mit dem mehrere 16A-Einheiten über Standard-Netzwerkkabel miteinander verbunden werden können.
