Diese Komponenten stammen alle von anderen Barefoot-Produkten.
Barefoot Sound traf mit der Einführung des Footprint01 genau den Nagel auf den Kopf. Der Footprint01 war der erste einer neuen Reihe aktiver 3-Wege-Lautsprecher, die speziell für die modernen Produktionsabläufe entwickelt wurden. Toningenieure, Produzenten, Komponisten, Musiker, Beatmaker und Postproduktionsprofis erkannten schnell, dass der Footprint01 den Klangcharakter und die Designmerkmale der High-End-Studiomonitore von Barefoot Sound bot, jedoch in einem kleineren Gehäuse und zu einem günstigeren Preis. Zum besten 3-Wege-Monitor seiner Klasse gesellt sich nun der Footprint02, ein ähnlicher, aber kleinerer aktiver Nahfeldlautsprecher zu einem noch günstigeren Preis. Er bietet die gleiche kompromisslose Klangqualität und die gleichen Designmerkmale wie der Footprint01. Die beiden Modelle teilen sich jedoch nicht nur Optik und Qualität, sondern auch das typische Barefoot-Design: Dual-Force™-Technologie für gegenüberliegende Subwoofer, Dual-Ring-Radiator-Hochtöner und Multi-Emphasis Monitor Emulation™ (MEME) – Technologie, die erstmals in den Flaggschiff-Serien MicroMain und MiniMain zum Einsatz kam.
Barefoot Sound feiert mit dem Monitor der neuesten Generation „Barefoot Sound Footprint FP-03“ einen neuen Meilenstein in der renommierten Footprint-Serie. Perfekt geeignet für kleinere Räume oder mobile Lösungen, vereint der Barefoot Sound Footprint FP-03 die außergewöhnliche Klangqualität und das elegante Design seiner Vorgänger in einem kompakten Format zu einem äußerst wettbewerbsfähigen Preis.
Der Footprint03C wurde als zentrales Element des Footprint03-Mehrkanalsystems entwickelt und vereint präzise Technik mit kraftvoller Verstärkung. Er verfügt über einen 1-Zoll-Ringradiator-Hochtöner, einen 3,5-Zoll-Aluminium-Mitteltöner und zwei 6,5-Zoll-Aluminium-Tieftöner. Fortschrittliche Magnet- und Motorsysteme, Kupfer-Kurzschlussringe und verbesserte Kühltechnologie reduzieren Verzerrungen und sorgen für gleichbleibende Leistung auch unter anspruchsvollen Bedingungen. Drei Class-D-Verstärkermodule treiben die Treiber einzeln an (60 Watt für den Hochtöner, je 100 Watt für Mittel- und Tieftöner) und liefern insgesamt 260 Watt saubere Leistung. Der MasterStack12 stellt den Höhepunkt der bisherigen Errungenschaften von Barefoot im Monitorlautsprecher-Design dar. Barefoots Flaggschiff-Referenzmonitorsystem ist ein 4,5-Wege-Aktivmodulturm mit zehn Antriebseinheiten – einem 1-Zoll-Ringradiator-Hochtöner, zwei 2,5-Zoll-Mitteltönern, drei 7-Zoll-Tieftönern und vier 12-Zoll-Subwoofern – in zwei Gehäusen untergebracht. The MiniMain12 is a 4-way active system with 7 drive units housed in sealed enclosures spanning 20Hz to 40kHz with vanishingly low distortion, breathtaking dynamic range and ultra-fast transient response. Every driver has an under-hung voice coil moving inside an advanced geometry motor that enables it make extremely long linear excursions. The ring radiator tweeter is incredibly detailed and produces very wide dispersion out to its highest frequencies. The aluminum cone subwoofers, woofers and midranges radiate as perfect pistons to at least 2.5 octaves beyond their respective bandwidths. Barefoot has teamed up with the brilliant Bruno Putzeys of Hypex to develop the powerful and completely transparent amplifier stage of the MM12. Melding the system together is a groundbreaking DSP crossover that has taken Thomas Barefoot more than 4 years to develop. With beautifully designed high end converts and cutting edge proprietary filtering techniques the MiniMain12 produces such a seamless and coherent wavefront that, if you dare, you can actually listen to this speaker from less than 3 feet away with no sonic compromise. With the turn of a knob one can switch from the MiniMain12′s brutally revealing “Flat” response to the warmer and sweeter “Hi-Fi” setting, generically emulating the sound of some high end consumer audio gear. More specifically the “Old School” setting closely emulates the sound of the NS10M nearfield, while the “Cube” setting emulates the mid-centric sound of classic mix cubes The idea is not to perfectly replicate every subtle quirk of these venerable old speakers. That would be impossible. But the MiniMain12 can capture the essence of how they behave and translate, modeling their frequency, phase and transient responses, dynamic compression and even some of their distortion components. Now featuring our amazing Speaker Emulation technology, the MicroMain27 Gen2 precisely models the essential response and translation characteristics of other classic studio monitors, simply with turn of a knob. Barefoot has gone to great lengths to utilize DSP processing to model the voicing characteristics and responses of classic studio nearfield monitors. A four-position wired remote allows users to quickly switch through different voices to preview mixes on other types of speakers without having the clutter of multiple speaker systems. Hi-Fi sweetens the high end and warms mid-range to behave much like consumer hi-fi systems. Flat is the default voicing, offering the true Barefoot Sound. The response is even and very revealing. OldScl captures the essence of the ubiquitous NS10M. The setting rolls off sub-bass and top-end information while pulling forward mid-range presence. Cube is a nod to the “aura” of the classic full-range micro monitors of yesterday. This is a valuable setting in the age of laptops, tablets and ear buds.
